A true partnership
Two, where most send one.
She plans it. He produces it. You get to be present.
Southern Aisles is a husband-and-wife wedding team based in Gastonia, North Carolina. Dana leads the planning, the relationships, and your experience. James leads the logistics, the production, and the execution. You get two people who do this together, know exactly how the pieces fit, and carry the details so you never have to manage your own day.
We’re transparent about what each service includes and what it costs, and we take a limited number of weddings each season so every couple gets our full attention.
Who we serve
The couples we love.
Any venue, any style, one priority: you, fully present.
We work with couples across every kind of wedding, from a backyard gathering to a historic venue to a ballroom, traditional or not. Some have planned every detail themselves and want a team to run the day. Others want a guide for the whole engagement. What our couples share is a simple want: to actually be present at their own wedding, and to trust that the people and details behind the scenes are handled. If that sounds like you, we’d love to talk.
Where we work
Gaston County and greater Charlotte.
Based in Gastonia, we bring the whole team to you.
We serve couples throughout Gaston County and the greater Charlotte area, including Gastonia, Belmont, Mount Holly, Cramerton, Dallas, Stanley, Charlotte, Lake Norman, Huntersville, and Denver. If your venue sits a little beyond that, reach out anyway. We travel for the right fit, and any travel is quoted in writing before you book.

How it works
Three steps, start to “I do.”
A clear path from your first message to your wedding day.
01 · We meet.
You send an inquiry, and we set up a complimentary discovery call. We talk through your day, answer your questions, and confirm which service fits and your final quote.
02 · We plan.
Once you’re booked, we go to work: timelines, vendor coordination, logistics, and, with Partial Planning, guidance across the engagement. You make the decisions. We keep every moving piece working together.
03 · You’re present.
On the day, both of us are on-site running the machine, so you, your family, and your wedding party never touch a timeline. You just live it.
You ask
The honest answers.

A planner helps you make decisions and build the wedding from the ground up. A coordinator steps in once the planning is done to run the logistics and the day itself. Our Partial Planning leans toward the planner role, and our Month of Management is coordination. Many couples near Charlotte and Gaston County only need the latter, and that’s exactly what it’s built for.
-
It’s professional coordination for the final stretch and the wedding day. Starting about 30 days out, we confirm your vendors, build your timelines, run your rehearsal, and manage the entire wedding day on-site, so you can hand off everything you’ve planned and simply show up.
-
Pricing varies by company and scope. Ours is published: Month of Management begins at $2,500 and Partial Planning begins at $4,000. Your final quote is confirmed after a discovery call.
-
Most couples book six to twelve months out, even for month-of management. We take a limited number of weddings each season and hold dates in the order couples book.
-
Gaston County and the greater Charlotte area, including Gastonia, Belmont, Mount Holly, Cramerton, Dallas, Stanley, Charlotte, Lake Norman, Huntersville, and Denver. We travel beyond that for the right fit, and any travel is quoted in writing before you book.
-
Not in our first season. It’s a future offering. For now we focus on management and partial planning and do them exceptionally well.
-
Yes. A non-refundable retainer reserves your date and applies to your total. For planning packages, it’s 50% to book, with the balance due 30 days before the wedding.
The first step
Let’s talk about your day.
Tell us a little about your wedding, and we’ll set up a discovery call.
